Veterinary dentistry and oral medicine is important to protect the health, safety, and welfare of animals.

X-rays are essential for diagnosing pet’s dental disease. By the age of three, most dogs and cats have some degree of dental disease. The early signs of dental disease in pets include bad breath, yellow tartar buildup on the teeth, and red and swollen gums. To detect dental disease before it negatively affects pet’s quality of life, dental evaluations as part of pet’s regular preventive care exam are recommended ,which should take place at least once a year.
